IHS Code Club, in conjunction with Issaquah Robotics Society, will be hosting a programming competition at Issaquah High School on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Register here at https://issaquahcodingcontest.com/.
Teams of 1-3 students will have a 3 hour period to solve as many coding problems as they can using a programming language of their choice (Java, C#, C++, or Python). Internet access is prohibited during the competition though printed resources such as APIs or old code is allowed. Solved problems will be evaluated by a judge and scored for points with the top three teams accumulating the most points at the end winning the grand prizes. Teams must provide their own ONE computer, able to run code on programs like jGrasp or Eclipse, and respective charger for the competition.
Teams are divided between the Intermediate Division and Advanced Division with groups with little experience in programming or are currently in a computer science class in the Intermediate Division and those with more experience or have completed one computer science class in the Advanced Division. There will be three winning teams from each division.

Food, drink, and snacks will be provided at the event.
There is an entrance fee of $10 per person, payable to one check. Please contact issaquahcodingcontest@outlook.com if you need this fee to be waived to participate.
